As a mother I am definitely interested in teaching my children about good living practices such as healthy eating, exercising and being compassionate to other human beings. I have complete faith that such practices will contribute to promoting mental health and physical well being, thus allowing them to live fuller, happier lives. Good living practices contribute to prevent diseases such as obesity, and diabetes as well as many other mental health illnesses. I am especially focused on teaching them meditation and relaxation techniques which promote good mental health and an emotional state of peace and acceptance.

Growing up no one taught me good living practices, my parents should have but they did not since they were always too busy working to dedicate time to their children. Both of my parents were unwilling to take good care of their heath, they loved eating junk food so much that they grew obese and suffered from many diseases. I plan on doing every single possible action so that my kids and I won’t have to suffer the same faith as my parents did, I will teach them about good living practices and the way that they affect our everyday lives. I have reduced my work load significantly so that I can spend more time with my sons and so they will never feel as I did, abandoned by my workaholic parents. I am the happiest mother, I love my children to death, they are the reason why I am in a good mental health state, and they keep me positive thought lives many challenges.
